How to Update Channel Plans on Your Ranger Meter

  1. Copy the File to USB
    • Format a USB stick to FAT32 and copy the required file onto it then insert the USB into your Ranger meter.
  2. Import the Channel Plans
    • Press the Folder button (right-hand side) to open the Installation Manager.
    • Press F4 (Tools)Import from USB, then select the channel plans. This will overwrite any existing plans with the same names.
  3. Apply the Channel Plan (Important!)
    • In Installation Manager, press F2 (Manage)F3 (Installation) to add the new channel plan to your meter’s current installation.
  4. Check for Old Channel Plans
    • If your meter is still using an old plan, it will remain active until manually changed.
    • The import process overwrites plans with the same name, but old ones (e.g., Sky8) may still exist.
    • To remove them, go to Installation Manager, select the files on the left, and press the appropriate F-key to delete them.
